Francois Doucet’s chocolate-coated blackcurrant fruit jellies are sophisticated French sweets. The colourful spheres are multi-layered, with a tangy blackcurrant jelly centre wrapped in a thin layer of marzipan. A double layer of creamy white and milk chocolate encases the filling. Serve these jewel-like Provence sweets with an espresso or herbal tea. The fruit jellies make elegant petit fours to enjoy after dinner, too.

Francois Doucet is a French confectionery company who has been making exceptional pralines, jellies and chocolate treats for over 50 years. They are inspired by Provencale flavours and make their confections using nuts and fruits from Provence. The star of the show is Francois Doucet’s almond praline, which uses a recipe that is over three centuries old.
