Hot Furikake Nori, 50g Japanese Ingredients|Herbs & Spices

Furikake nori is an umami-rich garnish for white rice, tofu and fish. Furikake is a dry Japanese condiment, traditionally made with dried fish and seaweed. It was created at the start of the 20th century as a way to increase the nutrient intake of the Japanese population. Nowadays, there are numerous varieties of furikake.  

This nori version is rich with salty, seaweed flavours – use it as a coating for onigiri – Japanese rice balls, sprinkle it over rice bowls, or pair with grilled seafood.
